Overview

Medinivaa is a full-stack hospital information system that connects every department under one roof — OPD, IPD, labs, pharmacy, billing, and administration. No more isolated software for each department that doesn’t talk to the others. Built for hospitals, polyclinics, and diagnostic centres that need clinical accuracy, billing transparency, and operational control without the bloat of legacy HMS platforms.

Containerised microservices deployed on K8s for horizontal scaling during peak OPD hours, rolling updates with zero downtime, and environment consistency.

Reverse proxy managing SSL termination, request routing across microservices, and static asset delivery for the web frontend.

Templated report generation for patient invoices, discharge summaries, lab reports, and MIS reports. Exportable as PDF.

SMS and WhatsApp notification layer for appointment reminders, lab report alerts, and discharge instructions to patients and their families.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Structured, speciality-wise clinical documentation. Doctors record vitals, symptoms, diagnoses (ICD-coded), prescriptions, and treatment plans in a clean interface. Full patient history accessible in one click.

IPD & Bed Management

Admission, bed allocation, ward transfers, nursing notes, dietary instructions, and discharge workflows — all tracked digitally. Real-time bed availability visible to reception and admissions.

Laboratory Information System (LIS)

Sample collection, barcode tracking, result entry, pathologist validation, and auto-delivery of reports to the patient’s app and the referring doctor’s dashboard. Turnaround time tracking built in.

Pharmacy & Inventory Management

Drug dispensing linked directly to prescriptions. Batch tracking, expiry alerts, reorder levels, vendor management, and controlled substance logging. Reduces medication errors and stock-outs.

Billing & Insurance Processing

Unified billing across OPD, IPD, lab, pharmacy, and procedures. Insurance pre-authorisation workflows, TPA claim tracking, and GST-compliant invoicing. Revenue leakage drops significantly when billing is connected to actual clinical activity.
