Overview

EasyVisa kills the pain of visa applications for Indian travellers. Scan your passport, pick your destination, fill a simplified form, pay online, and track your application in real time. No agents, no embassy confusion, no WhatsApp forwards asking “bhai documents kya chahiye.” Built as a D2C visa booking platform for Indian passport holders travelling to popular destinations across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

Tesseract OCR + Custom ML Pipeline

Optical character recognition for passport scanning. Extracts name, nationality, passport number, expiry date, and date of birth — pre-fills 80% of the application automatically.

AWS (EC2 + S3 + Lambda)

Core compute on EC2, document and passport image storage on S3 with server-side encryption, and Lambda functions for async tasks like OCR processing and email triggers.

Razorpay

Payment gateway handling visa fees via UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets. Supports partial refunds for rejected applications and auto-receipts with GST.

Cloudflare R2 + CDN

Encrypted document storage with zero egress fees. CDN-backed static asset delivery for sub-second page loads across India.

Firebase Cloud Messaging

Push notifications for application status updates — submitted, under review, approved, ready for download. Also handles payment confirmation and expiry reminders.

Twilio / MSG91

SMS and WhatsApp notifications for users who don’t have the app installed. Critical for real-time status alerts like “Your Dubai visa is approved.”

Puppeteer

Server-side headless browser automation for interfacing with government e-visa portals where direct API access isn’t available. Handles form submission, CAPTCHA delegation, and response scraping.

Passport Scan & Auto-Fill
